The Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade laid wreaths at ceremonies in both Ajax and Pickering.
On November 11th, representatives of the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade (APBOT) laid wreaths at the cenotaphs in Ajax and Pickering on behalf of our membership as a sign of respect and gratitude to those brave men and women who paid the supreme sacrifice in order to protect our way of life. APBOT 2014 President Paul Przybylo of Walker Head Lawyers laid the APBOT wreath in Pickering and APBOT 2014 Chair Bill Zolis of The Callery Group laid the wreath in Ajax.
The Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade, along with many community organizations and surviving family members, lays wreaths in both municipalities each year at the Remembrance Day ceremonies. This year there was a record turnout in both Ajax and Pickering, perhaps as a response to the recent tragic events in Ottawa and Saint-Jean-sur-Richalieu.
